Eyelash Lift

At Lena Utmost Beauty, we offer different approaches to lash lifting because natural lashes do not all behave in the same way. Our Lash Lift services include the Hydration Method, Lash Lift with Tint, Korean Lash Lift & Tint, and professional Lash Lift Reversal. A Lash Lift works with your own natural eyelashes rather than adding extensions. The aim is to change the direction and curvature of the lashes so that more of their natural length becomes visible and the eyes appear more open and defined. The final result depends on natural lash length, thickness, growth direction, eye shape and the type of lift selected.

Lash Lift Using the Hydration Method

Our Hydration Method is our established Lash Lift treatment and is designed to lift and reshape the natural lashes while incorporating a conditioning and hydration stage as part of the treatment. The natural lashes are positioned on a carefully selected silicone shield according to their length, direction and the type of result we want to create. The lifting and setting stages reshape the lashes before the treatment is completed with hydration and conditioning. The result can range from a softer curve to a more noticeable upward lift. Shield selection is particularly important because the same shield does not produce the same result on every client. The Hydration Method can be booked alone or combined with a Lash Tint for clients who also want their natural lashes to appear darker and more defined.

Korean Lash Lift & Tint

The Korean Lash Lift uses a different approach to positioning and reshaping the natural lashes. A defining feature of many Korean-style techniques is the use of a flat or low-profile shield during the initial lifting stage. This allows the lashes to be directed upwards from close to the root before they are positioned into their final shape. Depending on the system being used, a second curved shield may then be used to establish the final curl. Current professional guidance describes this root-focused, two-stage positioning as one of the principal distinctions between Korean and conventional lash-lift techniques. This can create a more pronounced root lift and make the natural lashes appear particularly elongated and open. It may be especially useful for lashes that naturally grow straight or downwards. It is also important not to confuse technique with chemistry. “Korean Lash Lift” does not automatically mean that one particular lifting ingredient or formulation must be used. Different professional systems use different products, while the Korean distinction primarily concerns how the lashes are positioned and reshaped. Korean Lash Lift or Hydration Method?

Neither method is automatically better for every client. The Hydration Method can create anything from a soft natural curve to a more noticeable lift and remains an excellent option for many natural lash types. The Korean method may be particularly attractive for clients wanting stronger lift from the root, especially when the natural lashes grow relatively straight or downwards. During consultation, we consider your natural lash length, direction, condition and the result you would like before deciding which approach is more appropriate. A photograph can help communicate your preference, but the treatment still needs to be adapted to your own lashes and eye shape.

Lash Lift or Eyelash Extensions?

A Lash Lift changes the appearance of your existing natural lashes but does not add additional lashes. If your priority is additional density, significant extra length or styles such as Classic, Light Volume, Hybrid or Mega Volume, you may prefer our Eyelash Extensions in Balwyn services instead. For clients who already like their natural lash density and mainly want greater lift and visibility, a Lash Lift may be the more appropriate option.

Lash Lift Reversal

We also provide professional Lash Lift Reversal. Occasionally, a previous Lash Lift may produce excessive curvature, lashes may curl too tightly towards the eyelid, or the direction of the lashes may not be what the client expected. A reversal is designed to relax and reposition an existing lift rather than creating additional curl. The lashes should always be assessed before a reversal is performed. Their current condition, the previous treatment and how recently it was performed all need to be considered before deciding whether reversal is appropriate.

Combining Lash and Brow Treatments

Clients who prefer treatments that enhance their own natural hair rather than adding extensions may also consider Eyebrow Lamination. While Lash Lift reshapes the eyelashes, Eyebrow Lamination works with the natural brow hairs to change their direction, create greater visual fullness and improve their shape. These treatments can be selected independently or as part of a broader lash and brow routine depending on the result you prefer.
